When is graduation for the Class of 2026?
Graduation is Saturday, May 16 at 10:00 AM in the Prairie Ridge main gym. The ceremony will last approximately 75 minutes. All graduates must be in the small gym by 9:15 AM and must be wearing their cap and gown.
When will the doors open on Saturday, May 16 for graduation?
Doors will open at 8:45 a.m.
How many tickets does each graduate receive?
Unfortunately, when our ceremony moves indoors, we can’t accommodate as many guests. Therefore, each family will receive ONLY four tickets for admittance into the main gym -- PRHS must limit the number of tickets as our gym space can only fit so many people. Tickets will be available for pick up by senior students in the main office beginning Monday, May 11th. Please put these tickets in a safe place, as tickets will not be reissued. If your family does not need all four tickets, please return them to the main office at PRHS anytime before the graduation ceremony (even the day of the ceremony itself) and we can re-distribute them to other families as needed. In addition to seating in the large gym, there will be a live simulcast in the theater.
Are additional tickets available if I’d like more?
We ask families that don’t need 4 tickets to leave them with the main office when they are picked up. IF there are additional tickets leftover, families can check in with the administrator on duty the morning of graduation.
Is there additional seating available for non-ticket holders?
The auditorium will have a live video and audio feed of the ceremony. Non-ticket holders can watch graduation from the auditorium. The auditorium is air-conditioned. You may find the streaming link on the PR website on the morning of May 16.
What should my son or daughter wear to graduation?
Graduation is an important milestone and a semi-formal event. Students should plan on wearing their best business casual attire and shoes when dressing up for this occasion. High heels are discouraged for an outdoor ceremony, as the soft grass can easily cause problems for such footwear. Finally, students should not decorate their mortar board/hat in any way – anything added to the caps will be removed.
At what time must my son or daughter arrive at PR on May 16?
All graduates must be in the small gym by 9:15 AM and must be wearing their cap and gown. Students will not be able to carry purses or bags, so leave them at home.
When will my son or daughter receive their official diploma?
During the ceremony, the graduates will receive an empty diploma cover. IMMEDIATELY following the ceremony, the students will pick up their actual diplomas in the cafeteria.
Is there handicapped seating and parking available?
Yes. Contact Mrs. Dolan (kdolan@d155.org) to reserve parking and seating for those needing assistance. Please include: the name of the graduate, the name of the person needing assistance and a contact name/number for the day of graduation. You may request one additional person to sit with them if necessary. These seats will be included as part of the 4 total tickets that each graduate receives.
Is there a DVD of the ceremony available?
No.
When were Jostens Cap and Gown delivered?
Cap & Gown pick-up was in February during lunch hours in the front foyer. If your graduate hasn't picked theirs up yet, please check in the main office. For any questions regarding cap & gown, please contact Todd Crandall (Jostens) directly at todd.crandall@jostens.com or 815-477-3588

Chromebook FAQ
What will happen with my D155 email address and Chromebook after I graduate?
-
Graduates will be able to keep their Chromebooks to use on their next endeavor, however, each graduate MUST go through a process that will remove the device from D155 ownership. At this time, students will also have one final opportunity to transfer any of their D155 Drive contents to a personal Google account. Students who either do not want their Chromebook or don’t plan on using it in the future may return it to their school’s Tech Center.

Please note the following timeline:
